The 41st edition of Host – the International Hospitality Exhibition, was held in the Rho quarter of Milan from 18 to 22 October 2019. This expo is dedicated to the Ho.Re.Ca industry and covers macro-sectors like hotels, restaurants, bars and other accommodation and catering businesses.
As we have done for a number of years, Sifim had a stand at last year’s expo too, and saw a great deal of interest in the solutions we had on show. Host is the world’s most representative event for the out-of-home sector which, according to that latest figures, already turns over 85 billion euros a year and is growing rapidly. 2,249 companies took part in the 2019 edition, including 889 companies from 55 different countries and over 1,500 hosted buyers from around the world. With its 500 events, first and foremost the Smart Label Host Innovation Award promoted by the Milan Exhibition Center and HostMilano in collaboration with POLI.Design, the show once again proved an excellent opportunity for meeting existing and potential customers from all over the world.
