At SIFIM, we have adopted an industrial system that applies accurate, meticulous checks to monitor all our processes. Samples are inspected at every phase of production. We have been certified to ISO 9001 – Vision 2000 since 2001, to guarantee that our quality management system is shared and applied by all our employees and suppliers and to ensure the excellence of everything we make.
In 2011, we integrated quality and environmental management under UNI EN ISO 14001 standard.
Certification to strict environmental standards has allowed us to significantly improve control over all internal processes related to waste disposal, energy efficiency, fire prevention, the correct use of chemical products, etc.
We obtained certification to OHSAS 18001:2007, the Occupational Health and Safety standard, in 2015. This was superseded by certification to the current UNI EN ISO 45001 standard in 2019.
Our integrated quality, environment and safety management system, supported by dedicated software and certified by RINA S.p.A., allows us to control all aspects of internal organization, environmental protection and health and safety in the workplace.
We consider qualified suppliers of goods, services and processes as essential partners. For this reason we carefully validate our suppliers’ organizations and insist that they respect all applicable standards in the fields of environment, safety and ethics.
Personnel dedicated to checks and quality controls on incoming goods constantly monitor the performance of our suppliers and request corrective actions if necessary.
To guarantee product quality throughout the supply chain, every year we draw up statistics to classify our suppliers on the basis of performance, bearing in mind whatever non-conformities have been detected.
Our production plant is equipped with an IT system that interconnects and controls all phases of production and traces all movements. Monitoring by highly qualified personnel minimizes the risk of error. This is complemented by a new computer system that ensures real-time monitoring of all phases of order processing, from order placement to work scheduling, packaging and shipping.
We can ship either finished or semi-finished products to suit our customers’ requirements. Product deliveries are always made within two to three weeks from order.
